For over 90 years, we have been producing and analyzing phytopharmaceuticals to the highest GMP quality standards for the German and Chinese markets on a contract basis with around 80 highly qualified employees.
About Us
Our production site in Baden-Baden looks back on almost 100 years of history: at the end of 2024, as part of a business transfer, we emerged from Cesra Arzneimittel and have since been a proud member of the Shenzhen Xingying corporate group.
With this new strategic focus, we are consolidating our extensive know-how in the production and analytics of phytopharmaceuticals in an independent entity. We rely on the experience and expertise of our employees as well as on cutting-edge production and analytical equipment.
From Baden-Baden, we primarily supply the Chinese market, where our preparation Aescuven has been successfully established for many years. With more than 1,000 field representatives within the group, we are the market leader in the area of venous insufficiency. Thanks to its unique formulation, Aescuven is reimbursable in China and is prescribed in hospitals.
With an annual capacity of more than 1 billion tablets and capsules, we possess extensive expertise in procurement, analytics, manufacturing, packaging, storage and export. We also make this know-how available to external partners in the form of contract manufacturing and contract analytics.
In addition to our strong position in China, we will also strengthen our presence in Germany going forward. For example, Aescuven is permanently available via leading wholesalers and mail-order pharmacies.
Nearly 100 Years of Experience
The roots of Aescuven Pharma Germany go back almost 100 years. Since its founding, our site in Baden-Baden has continuously evolved and today it is a modern competence centre for phytopharmaceuticals.

On around 2,500 m² of GMP-certified production area, we combine state-of-the-art technology with decades of know-how and a highly qualified team. We provide this expertise not only for our own products, but also to partners as part of contract manufacturing and contract analytics.

Contract Analytics

Analytical Competencies
We offer comprehensive physico-chemical contract analysis in accordance with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) for active ingredients, excipients and dosage forms.

Method validation
We carry out the validation of analytical procedures in accordance with the applicable ICH guidelines.
